A Cravens DMU after arriving at Silvertown station, next stop North Woolwich. 26 April 1979. The platform buildings have recently been demolished and new ones are appearing in their place. Although electrified in May 1985, the line closed in December 2006. The Tate & Lyle sugar processing facility dominates the scene at the right.
