A freshly-outshopped class 120 set - 51790 (leading)/59681/51782 - stands at the eastern end of St Rollox works yard on Sunday 10.9.78, awaiting departure back to Inverness the following day. Note that, unlike some of the others of its kind at Inverness, the DMBC retains its second class seating area ahead of the guard's van and has not had it converted to mail and parcels space. Notice too that the buffet is both labelled as such on the coach side and carries a red stripe above the buffet windows - not so common on DMU's.
