Battlefield Railway

Only one car made it into preservation, DMS 51321. After lying for some time at Tyseley, the National Diesel Railcar Museum reserved the former sandite car. When this group disbanded, leaving another Class on the verge of extinction, the "First Generation DMU Group" was set up with the specific aim of purchasing this vehicle. While the group was being formed it was saved by the Shackerstone DMU Group and it now resides on the Battlefield Railway.
