50881 (977825) was bought as a source of spares for 55034.
The required parts were removed at Tyseley, and then the vehicle cut
up there by MRJ Philips in August/September 1997. At the same time
they also scrapped 50093 (977829), the drive train being bought from
it by the Battlefield Railway as spares for Class 118 51321.
51134/47 spent four years on loan to the Gloucester &
Warwickshire Railway, returning late 2000.
51138/51 were originally at the East Kent Railway until Nov. 98,
then the Colne Valley Railway, moving to the
NTHC in Sep. 01.
