They
were delivered in lined Brunswick with whiskers, although small yellow
panels soon replaced the whiskers. Corporate all blue livery was next,
and refurbished livery was carried by some when this work was done to the
vehicles. Blue / grey then took over, and finally NSE livery. 
These
two pictures of the Quaintonian at Quainton by Robert Frise illustrate
two of the liveries carried. 51886 (above) was pictured on the
27/08/79 in all blue livery. This vehicle is now preserved at the
Buckingham Railway Centre. The refurbished livery (below) is carried
by 51653 (28/08/78).
