The Gwent 108 Group

The group is based on the Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway, at Blaenavon, Gwent, close to the Big Pit Mining Museum. The group owns 4 Class 108 vehicles, 53632 and 52044 being operational and in regular use this summer, these two units are being kept in BR Blue/Grey livery for this season at least. Whilst 51942 and 56270 are hoped to be running by the autumn, if time allows these will be repainted in all over Green with Yellow warning panels.
