Class 119 DMU set B596 (51099 + 59416 + 51076) stands at Weymouth Town station having just arrived with train 2O58 the 13.00 from Westbury via Yeovil Pen Mill on September 17, 1983. When this was taken the station at Weymouth was in something of a time warp with cream and green "southern railway' colours still adorning the buildings. Adrian Nicholls.

After reversal at Worcester Shrub Hill on 29 March 1986 class 119, identifiable by the red stickers denoting extra luggage space when used on trains to Gatwick Airport, set B596 (presumably 51076 + 59416 + 51099) was routed around the sharp curve towards Worcester Foregate Street and onward to Malvern and Hereford. The structure unfortunately only part-visible in the foreground is thought to be the remnants of a World War 2 air-raid shelter, complete with flue for a heating stove, for use by railway staff. ABirmingham to Hereford train is seen arriving at Worcester Shrub Hill on 29 March 1986. This time it is class 119 set B596 (51076 + 59416 + 51099) which will reverse in the platform. The driver has been a bit quick in changing the lights on the leading vehicle from white to red prior to coming to a halt. The small signal arm on the gantry was lowered to allow 08781 to leave the station a few minutes later to the site once occupied by the shed. Peter Tandy.

Taken at 17:14, a late afternoon Up service for Paddington on the Relief Line at West Ealing station. 31st March 1992. Class 116 51153, set number T407 is seen at Tyseley on 18.10.1992. It had been transferred from Cardiff and is seen as part of a scratch set with an NSE liveried Class 119 centre car (presumably 59416).
