Class 116 53825, set number 116 389, is seen at Tyseley on 20.03.1987 after being transferred down from Scotland. Not all of these ex-Scottish based Class 116's entered service at Tyseley, some were withdrawn for spares. 53825 still carries Trans Clyde branding. Andy Cole.

A Derby suburban set headed by W50878 arrives at Birmingham Snow Hill on 29 November 1957 ready to work the 2.05pm to Stratford-on-Avon. In brand new condition, it was delivered that month and the set would also contain 59333 and 50825. Michael Mensing.

Class 108 DMBS 53974, set number T204, is seen at Tyseley on 20.05.1989. The road it is on leads to the wheel lathe, and its partner, 54503 was on the lathe. The adjacent Class 116 (either 53825 or 53873) is missing a drivers door.
