Cravens Class 105 DMU set 51 - presumably with 51269 closest - at Cambridge circa May 1986. The vehicle would move to Scotland in June that year. Brian Ward.

Class 105 DMU at Paisley Gilour Street

14th July 1986

Class 105 DMBS 51269 at the head of a Glasgow Central - Largs service at Paisley Gilmour Street on 14/7/86. It had been transferred from Norwich a few weeks before, the NC set number 51 has been partially peeled from the left cab window. The vehicle is in plain blue livery, the vehicles behind (59069 and 51250) are in blue/grey as evidenced by the open doors. Dennis Taylor.

6th December 1986

A Hybrid 105/107/120 set heads away from Kilmarnock with the 11:45 to Glasgow Central on December 6th, 1986. Formed of 51269 + 59793 + 53647, they were listed as set 105552. Gordon Thomson.

A tri-coloured unit, with a Cravens car at the buffers. Note the scrawled (or taped on?) unit number. Glasgow Central, circa late 1986 or early 1987. The vehicles are presumably 51269 (class 105) + 59793 (class 107) + 53647 (class 120). Ian Docwra.

6th December 1987

E51269 at Snailwell on 6th December 1987. When this was reallocated from Norwich to Ayr I didn't think I would see it again. It's trailer (later at Norwich) 54136 went to Vic Berrys. Nicholas Youngman.

The rear ends of Cravens vehicles E51269 and E56139 stabled at Cambridge in March 1968. Both vehicles were allocated to Finsbury Park, the trailer had been a Hull vehicle and once carried an NE prefix to the number, it can be seen that the N has been painted over. Stuart Mackay Collection.
