16/05/59 - A number of odd Class 126 vehicle had arrived in Scotland from Swindon and in some cases have been marshaled into Edinburgh-Glasgow sets. Five vehicles, including 51012, 51013, 59402 and 59402, were in Lugton goods yard on 16th May 1959.

51012 awaits its fate after withdrawal. The boarded up windows were a sign it was an asbestos contaminated vehicle. At Falkland Yard in August 1982.
