DMU

Date: 11th March 1989

Set number: T401

A four-car Tyseley DMU, set 401, passing the signalbox at Bearley Junction on 11 March 1989. This unit is a right hotch-potch with a class 116 DMS 53883, class 115 TS 59743, class 127 TSL 59610 and Class 115 DMBS 51662. This mixture of types was far from unusual at Tyseley around this time with the depot using whatever they had available to keep trains running at a time of dreadful reliability. Peter Tandy.
