1956-built Cravens class 105 2-car DMU E53365-E54133 emerges from the gloom of the GE main lines over bridge into Stratford low level station, forming a Camden Road to North Woolwich service on 1 May 1985, just days before inauguration of 3rd rail electric services. The Stratford to North Woolwich DMU service had been extended to Camden Road in 1979 as part of the 'Cross Town Link Line' service. Gordon Edgar.
Cravens units E53365 and E54133 passing Stratford Southern signalbox with a service from North Woolwich just prior to energisation of the third rail and replacement with 2-EPB units from the Southern Region, 1st May 1985. Gordon Edgar.
Norwich allocated Cravens class 105 dmu E53365 is seen right up at the blocks at Sheringham, about to form a Norwich service, on what is now know as the "Bittern Line", on 16th August 1986. The scene here has changed, and for the good for once, after a period of 36 years the link to the North Norfolk Rly, over the road was reinstated on the 11th March 2010, so trains can now pass right through this scene.
