Set 340 arrives into Barrhead station on October 11, 1988. It is a hybrid set, two Met-Camm vehicles and a Class 108 at the front, presumably 53645. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Class 108 DMU at Dalwhinnie

circa 1989

A hybrid DMU is seen in the Highland mainline at Dalwhinnie, circa 1989, possibly on driver training. Labelled set 340 it comprises a Class 108 DMS (53645) and a Class 101 DMBS. Spannerman37025.
