Three-car Met-Camm set 204 heads towards Edinburgh at Saughton Junction on February 28, 1979. The four lines divide behind the DMU, the left two head towards Glasgow, the right two towards Fife. Steve Davies Collection.
19th May 1979
Class 101 set 204 Rosyth Dockyard Station 19 May 1979. A DMU shuttle was usually operated from Edinburgh in connection with the annual Royal Navy Open Day which we used to good advantage. At this time there was still a train for dockyard workers that was unadvertised in the public timetable beyond Inverkeithing which ran each weekday morning from Kirkcaldy and intermediate stations and back again in the evenings. The ScR was unique in painting some cars in blue and grey. Hybrid set 204 features a Class 105 DMBS in Blue and Grey, Class 101 centre car in refurbished livery and a 101 DMS in blue and grey. Seen at Cadder on the 5th April 1980. Hamish Stevenson.
