Taken at Doncaster Works during the open day on 12/7/92, 117314 (51352 + 59489 + 51394) has been overhauled and awaits release from the Works. Kevin Dowd.

27th July 1993

51394 leads set 117 314 leaving Waverley station, on the 16.47 to Cowdenbeath, on 27/7/93. The set had just been allocated to Haymarket, having been transferred from Tyseley, for a couple of months and would go on to work out the last five or so years of its life from the Edinburgh depot, on workings like the one shown here. August 1993

Set 117 314 (presumably 51352 + 59489 + 51394) leaves Haymarket, entering the long tunnel that takes it to Princes St. Gardens and into Waverley. August 1993. Alan Rintoul.

10th September 1993

117314 - formed 51352 + 59489 + 51394 - is working the 17:27 Edinburgh - Perth when seen at Markinch on the 10th September 1993. Hamish Stevenson.

22nd October 1993

One of Haymarket's fairly recently acquired class 117's (unit 117 314, with 51394 trailing and nearest the camera) leaves the depot at 16.35 on 22/10/93, as ECS to Waverley station. It will, in all likelihood, then form an evening peak working to Fife. Leonard Rogers.

4th April 1994

Pressed Steel set 117314 (presumably 51394 + 59489 + 51352) arrives into Edinburgh Waverley with a service from Kirkcaldy on April 4, 1994. Hamish Stevenson.

3rd September 1994

Class 117 DMS 51394, set number 117 314, is seen at Springburn Works receiving attention to it's bogies on 03.09.1994. Andy Cole.
