Ken Barnes kindly sent in these three pictures after seeing the
shots of the experimental liveried Gloucester cars in update
78. It seems that 56315 was sent to St Rollox for it's
conversion for use on the weedkilling train, where these two
shots were taken in restricted conditions in March '75. Ken

The car was still in it's experimental livery, but this picture shows that a
blue stripe was also tried as well as the earlier orange stripe, this one having
the BR Logo below rather than on the stripe. These two St Rollox shots also show
the front window that was replaced in the front saloon. Ken Barnes

And here's the completed vehicle on the weedkilling train on the Keighley
& Worth Valley line in June 1979. It was converted to blue star for remote

It may look like the end of a MkI with the buckeye coupling and Pullman
gangway, but this is the end of Class 126 TCK Sc59404 undergoing some repair
