In
the '70s the line had various first generation units, but as it
developed it turn to loco hauled trains only. However in 2004
it purchased 101 680 (50204 / 51511).

The Goathland Buffet |

 |
One of the 79xxx series Class 126 vehicles survives in
preservation today thanks to the NYMR using it for many years as
a static buffet at Goathland station. Sc79443 is detailed
in these two views on the 7th April 1985. Photography was
difficult because of the location of the footbridge. The
entrance was via the gangway door to the right. It is now
at Bo'ness, a stripped out shell after asbestos removal. Malcolm
