Churnet Valley Railway

The Churnet Valley Railway runs from Cheddleton to Oakamoor in Staffordshire, and is home to an extensive collection of Class 104 vehicles. The first two cars restored, 50455/50517 prove they are well suited to this scenic line.

Taken in 2004, during the set's first few days of running after renovation. It has emerged from Leekbrooke Tunnel and is just running into the headshunt at the northern limit of the Churnet Valley Line. D.R. Gibson
