B469 deep inside the stack. "This is one of my most memorable shots I've taken. Not because its particulary breathtaking to look at, but because of the effort I went to to get it and its quite artistic. I saw the potential the week before, so next time I set off to VBs I was armed with a tripod. I had to clamber deep into the stack where it was as black as hell! It really was like caving! I had to feel my way round the camera - I could hardly see it! I ran off various exposures to get the right one, this being 8sec f5.6 64asa. I just wish I knew the vehicle number, its either 51311 or 51326. I searched all over it to find its number, even inside it, but no luck! Hopefully evidence will turn up in the future." Kevin Dowd. Right: W51067. Kevin Dowd
