Thought to be taken at 30A, provisionally parked in the mixed sidings to the North of the then-still-extant Leyton junction with the by-then LT Central Line.  (This entire formation and sidings is now buried beneath the M11/A12 road extension). Tony Wilkins

Believed to be Swindon Works. Three vehicles were disposed there, 79058, 79063 and 79064. Which vehicle, the date and the cause of the damage are not known. Tony Wilkins
